Description: This is a ceramic art piece. The vase the figure sits on is draped with lace that is fired into the clay. The vessel/vase is attached to a metal, painted lamp base. Lots of different colored lusters combined in several firings create the different colors. Glass is fired onto the piece as well and melts into the glaze for special effect. The figure wears delicate threads on her arm and her dress is made of cheesecloth covered in clay and fired on.Gold threads and feathers are attached to the metal base as well. I don't really know why ~ pretty though !
